At only six years old, she is innocent, loving, and deeply attached to her older sister. She is terrified of her abusive father and traumatized by the violent death of her mother. Despite her young age, she displays a raw vulnerability that makes her a sympathetic figure. She looks up to Irina completely and clings to her as a protector. In her brief appearance, she must convey fear, grief, and a desperate need for safety. *****Must be comfortable with mild physical contact (being held, hugged, pulled gently). Comfortability with loud sound effects (breaking glass, shouting) during filming is essential. This role involves portrayals of domestic violence, child endangerment, and parental death. The character witnesses and experiences: Her mother being physically assaulted and killed, Her father acting as a violent threat, Ivan grabs Young Sasha by the hair and drags her.. Parents or guardians must be comfortable with the child actor being in close proximity to simulated violence (e.g., hiding under a table while adults perform a fight scene).
